Title: Graphical User Interface Designer

Location: the Rubicon Project HQ in West Los Angeles


Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overall look and feel and workflow of a simple, sleek and easy to use graphical user interface for a web-based AJAX application.
• Developing, programming, testing, and maintaining graphical user interface based on business requirements.
• Creating new layouts as needed including designing and coding pages and incorporating text, graphics, multimedia, and other features.
• Maintaining consistency and quality control of design.
• Providing ongoing graphics support and design/layout.
• Developing, documenting and maintaining standards and structure.

Qualifications:

• 3-years experience in web development/marketing/advertising/design studio environment.
• Hands-on, front-end coding and creative design, and management of all aspects of user interface and website.
• Solid HTML skills. Proficiency in Dreamweaver and/or other web design tools and experience in development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Flash.
• Experience with or working knowledge of Flash, Fireworks, CSS, and XML.
• Excellent layout and typographical instincts.
• Must have the ability to prioritize work load, manage multiple projects with fast turn-around, meet deadlines and maintain a positive attitude.
• Ability to create fresh, innovative concepts and design solutions from beginning to end.
