Responsibilities:
- Source campaigns for Rubicon's global publisher clients by building and expanding relationships with the industry's top advertising networks
- Match traffic with ad network partners based on geographic/contextual/demographic targeting, impression volumes and eCPM performance
- Manage all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and closing
- Identify and evaluate new inventory placement opportunities within Rubicon's existing publisher clients
- Mentor junior team members on sales strategy, techniques and execution
- Minimum 2-4 years online advertising sales, either for an ad network or large branded publisher
- Strong understanding of industry trends, technologies and pricing models
- Excellent understanding of ad network dynamics and campaign buying and planning
- Strong knowledge of ad campaign metrics and analysis
- Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and the ability to sell based on value not price
- Understanding of audience profiles, online ad targeting, and campaign optimization
- BA/BS required
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ambition, high energy and the will to succeed
- Motivated to work in a fast-paced, fun environment
- Strong desire to work in a team setting
