We use software and people-driven research to learn the strengths of your network. Then, we bring qualified inventory to you. Ideally, we work with you to setup targeted tags from your network that match various segments (by geography, demographic or context/topic). This makes the matching process more efficient and targeted, increasing performance.]
Can I use my own optimization technology?
Absolutely! If you already have technology that optimizes inventory (e.g. contextual mapping or behavioral targeting), bring it on! Our technologies compliment each other. You ultimately serve the ad. First, our system gets the ad impression from the publisher, analyzes it and then selects ad networks based on their strengths. Then, the ad impression is redirected to your system to serve the ad to the visitor. So, nothing changes, it’s just like working with any other publisher.
Is the Rubicon Project an ad network or exchange?
No, we’re neither a network nor an exchange because we don’t work directly with advertisers or agencies. That’s your business – you do it way better than we could!
