Nina grew up in Düsseldorf, Germany. She graduated from University of Applied Sciences North Rhine Westphalia and Avans Hogeschool, Netherlands with degrees in Business Economics, International Management and Marketing. Her first step into the industry was in 2000 when she joined the German Association for the Digital Economy (BVDW) where she managed events and international projects - and discovered the wonderful world of online advertising. Prior to joining the Rubicon Project she headed up the Publisher Services Team Germany for AOLs Advertising.com. During this three years journey she moved to beautiful Hamburg and enjoys living close to Scandinavia which is her favorite travel destination.
